Scheduling Your School Program

Reservations for Outdoor Learning Labs and Seasonal Sessions are accepted beginning in the month of August for the upcoming school year.  Due to their popularity, teachers are encouraged to make their reservations as soon as possible.  

Reservations can be made by calling the park office (334-794-3452) Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Reservations are REQUIRED for all education programs! 

Outdoor Learning Labs can be scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Planetarium programs can be scheduled Tuesday - Friday 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m. or 12:15 p.m.  Maximum 45 people.

Outdoor Learning Lab and Planetarium can be scheduled Tuesday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Seasonal Sessions are scheduled on specific dates and can accommodate most any class size.  Times will vary.

Costs are as follows:

Planetarium Program..................................$4 per student

Outdoor Learning Lab................................$5 per student

Outdoor Learning Lab and Planetarium.....$6 per student

Seasonal Sessions........................................prices vary

Self led........................................................$3 per student

Teachers and Aides are FREE, one chaperone per 10 students is FREE.  Additional chaperones pay the student fee.  Chaperones should not bring their own children with them if their children are younger than the group they are accompanying.  

Please note there is a $40 minimum fee for all programs.

A NON REFUNDABLE $40 deposit will be due two weeks prior to the date of your program.

**If you have a special request or would like for our staff to emphasize a particular subject during your program, please call the park office a few weeks in advance so we may better serve you.
