Students will step back in time with a visit to our crossroad community. Time will be spent exploring a school, a church, and businesses of the 1900's.  Students will participate in an old time school lesson taught in the one room schoolhouse including recitations, a spelling bee and games.  they will also visit the blacksmith shop and general store where they will experience the daily sights and sounds of yesterday.

With a visit to our Wiregrass Farmstead, students will acquire a greater understanding of the lifestyle of rural farm families at the turn-of-the-century. Students will learn about many aspects of farm life such as chores, food preparation and recreation.
