Landmark Park offers several shopping opportunities on the grounds. School groups and visitors are welcome to browse through the variety of items available at the park.

Interpretive Center Gift Shop
The Interpretive Center Gift Shop carries plenty of educational toys and books geared to science, nature, geology, aerospace and astronomy. Also available are books written by Dothan Landmarks Foundation, Inc. and honey extracted from the 11 hives at Landmark Park. The Gift Shop is open Mon.-Sat. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sun. from noon-6 p.m.

ABOVE LEFT The newest release, "Dothan and Houston County: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow," published by Beers and Associates, is a 160 page book featuring photos from the past paired with present-day photos of the same location in Houston County, as well as corporate profiles of businesses in the area. It is written by Scotty E. Kirkland and Laura Stakelum with photography by Frank Gaines. $43.54 (plus shipping if you order online.). Also available at the Dothan Area Convention and Visitors' Center, Northcutt's, Houston Love Memorial Library and Red House Books.

ABOVE CENTER "Railroading Around the Wiregrass," is a 128 page book featuring historic photos paying tribute to railroads and the people who created and used them. ABOVE RIGHT "Houston County, The First 100 Years," depicts the county's 100 year querst told through images from the past and present. Both books published by Arcadia Press. $21.79 each (plus shipping if you order online)

Martin Drugstore
In the Martin Drugstore at Landmark Park, you will find a variety of toiletry items for both men and women, including handmade soaps, old-fashioned boar bristle shaving brushes with ceramic shaving mugs, and more. Plus candy, ice cream and treats from the old fashioned soda fountain. Open Wed.-Sat. from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sun. from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Shelley General Store
The Shelley General Store carries old fashioned cookbooks, plus wooden toys, marbles, tops and tin signs. The Shelley General Store is also home to many musical instruments including harmonicas, wooden flutes, slide whistles, jaw harps, washboards and melody harps. Open Sat. from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sun. from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Closed Monday-Friday.
